GENERAL EVALUATOR
Taking on this role improves critical thinking, organization, time management, motivational, and team-building skills.
General Evaluator evaluates everything that takes place during the club meeting. Also, General Evaluator conducts the evaluation portion of the meeting and is responsible for the evaluation team: the speech evaluators, Ah Counter, grammarian, and timer. As General Evaluator, you:
Step 1: Introduce Your Role, and introduce your team, (Timer, Ah-counter, Grammarian)
Toastmaster of the day will introduce your role as General Evaluator to facilitate the meeting.
Your script could look like this: (or you can write your script)
Thank you very much, Madam (Mister) Toastmaster, fellow Toastmasters, and honored guests. As General Evaluator for this meeting, I will be observing the meeting, making notes, and offering reports and general comments at the end of the meeting. Besides, I have a team that will be assisting me in these duties.
I want to introduce my team now and ask each of them to stand and briefly describe the role they will be performing today.
Madam (Mister) Timer, would you please stand and describe the timing sequences for the prepared speeches today.

Was the Word of the Day challenging, appropriate, and fitting for the theme of the meeting?
Did the General Evaluator properly introduce the Timer?
Was the Timer prepared and did they introduce their role within the allotted time?
Did the General Evaluator properly introduce the Ah-Counter?
Was the Ah-Counter prepared and did they introduce their role within the allotted time?
Was the General Evaluator’s report given?
Table Topic Master
Was the purpose and timing of Table Topics® properly explained?
Was the topic selected appropriate and did it fit the meeting theme?
Did the Topicsmaster call on people who did not have a meeting role first during Table Topics?
Were guests invited to participate?
Did the Topicsmaster track time to ensure the meeting stayed on schedule?
Was control properly returned to the Toastmaster?
Step 3: Reporting
At the end of the meeting, you will be introduced by Toastmaster to give your report. Your script could look like:
